Heera Group is an Institution of national Interest which has continuously worked on the women related causes in the countryside. In the last two decades it has emerged as one of loudest advocates for women and children in the countryside. Women in rural communities’ experience higher rates of life-threatening complications during or after childbirth than mothers in urban cities. We have continuously provided benefits to women during and after childbirth. We have launched several Policies and programs aiming to improve maternal health and reduce adverse events associated with delivery. Alhamdulillah, Heera Group has left no stone unturned to help poor and marginal women of the society especially the countryside.
Heera Group is an institution of women’s interest. It conducts rigorous research and disseminates its findings to address the needs of women, promote public dialog, and strengthen families, communities, and societies. Heera Group works with policymakers, scholars, and public interest groups to design, execute, and disseminate research that illuminates economic and social policy issues affecting women and childrean.
It is the leading think tank in India focusing on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of women’s related policy. Over the last two decades, the rate of women’s representation in national parliaments globally has incrementally increased from 11.8 percent in 1998 to 17.8 percent in 2008 to 23.5 percent in 2018. The meaningful participation of women in national, local, and community leadership roles has become an important focus on global development policy.
Women’s engagement is crucial and it is important to recognize that women are not a homogeneous group. In 2018, I launched the All India Mahila Empowerment Party (MEP); with the aim to increase women participation in active politics. MEP aims to promote women empowerment in the countryside. It encourages women to join politics and become members of law making bodies. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, saw we have helped our brothers and sisters. InshaAllah organization will further continue to raise its voice for the marginal and downtrodden sections.
