Assalam Alaikum my Heera Group family, with the grace of Allah and your dua I am healthy and fine. As you people are aware that Heera Group bounced back to the business world but only a few know the struggle behind it. I had to go through a series of mental and physical agony. I spent 810 days in police custody just because of my decision to fight the battle of downtrodden sections of society. I was arrested 27 times and every time they tried to break me but I didn’t bow in front of them. The provisions of sub-section (4) of Section 46 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 mandate that, if the Police want to arrest a woman after sunset, they have to seek prior permission of the Magistrate, and arrest should be made by a Lady Police Officer.
Section 46 (4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 enumerates that a woman shall not be arrested after sunset and before sunrise.
Section 46 (4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 enumerates that a woman shall not be arrested after sunset and before sunrise. But I was arrested at midnight and it was totally illegal. Every Time I was arrested, only one thing was running into my mind: what will happen to poor Heera Group supporters who will suffer just because of a few. They arrested me without any kind of notice. I was taken to Chanchalguda Jail, Hyderabad. After 9 days I got bail. Around midnight around 2 a.m., the jail authority informed me that your bail has been passed and your family members have come to take you. Even they said to me that due to media issues and the huge crowd of people we are releasing you now, around 2 a.m., they took me out from the barrack. I was released around 4 a.m. early in the morning from Chanchalguda Jail. When I came out of jail, I couldn’t see any of my family members there. But A man and two women came near me and said “Mumbai Police”. They were in civil dress and were not dressed in the Police Uniform.
