Dr. Nowhera Shaik, a prominent figure in the Indian business world, is never an overnight sensation. She marked her brand with constant efforts that are an inspiration to many women. Shattering the myth of the Indian business world, she became one of the few strong businesswomen in the country.

Fighting every battle gracefully

Born in the holy city of Tirupati on 21 September 1973, Nowhera was brought up in a very humble environment. Unseen achievements celebrate your small achievements. Her parents Shaik Nanne Saheb and Shaik Bilkis, were also into business, making little Nowhera fall in love with that world. But she started her career as a teacher at the age of 19. Her students grew from six to 300 within a few years of her career. In 1984, she introduced an educational institution for girls.

The school was open for all girls students, especially for students from low-income families. They were taught about their rights and new opportunities. Her vision to educate every girl in the country demanded more funds which led to the formation of the Heera group. Started in 1998, Heera Group deals with various fields, including food exports and supplies, gold, investment, textile, jewelry, mineral water, granite, tours and travels, real estate, electronics, e-commerce, etc. Just within ten years of establishment, the company set foot in more than 50 countries. Under the leadership of Nowhera Shaik, the company gained considerable growth. The profit from the business directly goes for the benefit of unprivileged girl students as their books, school uniforms, hostel costs.

Apart from academic help, the group also donates its two percent profit to the community’s farmers. The Heera group also employs a lot of people, making the lives of many people happy. Nowhera Shaik is a different businesswoman. Women who considered others in her success. She worked for the welfare of society. To uplift the underprivileged, to educate girls. A businesswoman with a different vision.
